House at the End of the Street

Or how I nearly fell asleep

Not gonna lie to you, Jlaw was the big reason i watched this movie. But after watching it I promptly regretted that choice and remembered why I typically avoid “horror” movies with big names in them.

This movie is decent enough I suppose if you’re just getting into spooky movies its got some mind games in it that might catch you off guard. Over all the movie is just kinda meh to me I doubt I’ll watch it again unless I forget that I’ve watched it (which I’m pretty sure I have before) and let JLaw lure me in again. Basic premise is Jlaw and Her mom move into a new house and the neighboring house is owned by a kid whose sister killed his parents blah blah. In typical small town vibes of movies everyone knows all about the history and all about here cause google etc. As the story progresses The neighbor kid becomes creepier and creepier and SURPRISE HE ACTUALLY KILLED HIS PARENTS AND THE “SISTER” IN THE BASEMENT IS SOME GIRL HE KIDNAPPED. Actually no it wasnt a surprise at all

Seriously a really meh movie 2/10 for me
